Privacy Policy

Turnsweep — last updated 21 August 2026

Turnsweep is a tool for planning short-term-rental turnovers. This policy describes what the app collects, why, where it goes, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible, so where something is a limitation it says so.

Who is responsible

Turnsweep is published by Significa Interactive. For anything in this policy, including a request to access or delete your data, write to support@turnsweep.com.

Turnsweep works without an account

If you never sign in, nothing leaves your device. Your properties, calendars, checklists, verification photos and stock records are stored locally and are not transmitted anywhere. Signing in is what turns on syncing, cleaner assignment, messaging and photo upload.

What is collected, and why

DataWhyWhen
Email address, display name, and whether you are a host or a cleaner To identify your account, and to decide what you are shown and what you may change On signup or sign-in
Property details — name, check-in and checkout times, expected cleaning duration, colour These are what turnover times are calculated from When you add a property
Calendar export links, and the bookings they contain — dates and whatever summary the platform includes To derive the turnover schedule When you connect a calendar
Checklists, task completion, and notes To record what was done on each turnover As a clean is worked through
Verification photographs Evidence that a task was completed, for the host who asked for it Only when a photo is taken for a task that requires one
Inventory items and quantities To track consumables between cleans When you record stock
Messages about a turnover, and any photos attached to them So a host and a cleaner can coordinate about a specific job When a message is sent
A push notification token for the device To deliver a notification when someone messages you When you sign in on a device
Subscription status — product purchased, expiry, and the store's transaction identifier To know whether the account has an active subscription Only if you subscribe

What is not collected

Turnsweep has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind. It does not collect location, contacts, your photo library, device identifiers for advertising, or a browsing history. It does not build a profile of you, and it does not sell or share personal information for advertising. No automated decision-making with legal effects is performed.

Payment details

Turnsweep never sees your card. Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store or Google Play, which handle payment entirely. Turnsweep receives only a receipt confirming that a purchase exists, and stores what the tables above describe.

Verification photographs

These deserve their own section, because they are pictures of the inside of someone's home.

Who else processes your data

Turnsweep uses a small number of service providers. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long it is kept

Synced data is kept while your account exists. Deleting your account removes it, as described below. Data held only on your device is removed when you delete the app. Backup copies held by our infrastructure provider are overwritten on a rolling basis within 30 days.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app, under Account, or from this page without installing it. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your profile, properties, calendars, checklists, verification photographs, stock records, messages and device tokens.

One thing is deliberately not removed: if you are a cleaner, the record that a turnover was completed stays with the host who owns that property, with your name removed. That record is theirs — it is the history of their property being cleaned — and it would not be right for one party to be able to erase the other's records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Access, correction and erasure are all available inside the app. For anything else, write to support@turnsweep.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Where we rely on a legal basis under the GDPR, it is the performance of a contract with you — running the service you asked for — except for push notifications, which rely on your consent, given by granting the permission and withdrawable in your device settings at any time.

Children

Turnsweep is a tool for running a business and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access to synced data is enforced by row-level security rules in the database rather than by the app, so a modified client cannot read another account's data. Photographs are stored privately behind expiring signed links. No system is perfectly secure, and this policy does not promise that one is.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the app will say so before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
